I started painting in 2000 with an interest in oils. I love the energy painting gives me. I have taken lessons from various artists. Recently I have studied with Mike Rooney, a North Carolina artist known for his plein air paintings of coastal scenes. I'm an impressionist who loves capturing light and shadow.
